Viewing Post for: Antarctic Adventure
Date: Tuesday, January 17, 2017
Location: Punta Arenas again
Crazy. Back in South America. Seems so quick now. Weather settled down and we were able to fly out. King George Island has 5 bases we could see from the ship. It was a mile walk to the airport, a gravel strip and that was it.
We met people from all over the world this trip. The ship and crew were Russian, the company Canadian. Antarctica is a good example of what is possible with cooperation and putting the earth first.
Now we have a day in Punta to work on pictures, catch up on emails or shop.
Thank you to those who have followed us. It is great to share our journey. Our next live Updates from PPS will start Feb 28 when we are in a remote part of Tanzania building houses alongside tribal women there. JOIN US.
