Location: MT COOK NATIONAL PARK
Cave Spring was a huge adventure today. We went to an area where they filmed Narnia. There is a cave there. It is a stream you walk in,about waist deep in a cave for an hour or so in the dark with headlamps. You start by wading in this very cold water and finish by climbing an iron ladder by a waterfall to get out. HUGE ADVENTURE.
T
hen we had a long drive to Mt Cook. The lake is the most intense turquoise. In the near distance rises to over 12,000 feet, the glaciated Mt Cook. We are lodging nearby and can watch the light change on it.
Lovely, lovely, lovely!
