Location: Mendoza, Argentina
The taste of luxury awaits in Mendoza! Starting out today, we visited the
Salentien vineyards to feast our eyes on the beautifully designed buildings
and a breathtaking art collection while sipping their lovely Malbec and
Sauvignon Blanc.
Back on our bikes, our wonderful tour guide Sergio showed us the way down
another idyllic country road to the Andeluna Winery. We gorged on some of
Argentina's finest wines, outdoing yesterday with a six course meal
prepared a few feet from our table. The chef's team created edible art
including smoked trout, fine cuts of steak and raspberry mousse, and a wine
for each course. The view of the nearby Andes through the open doorways
topped it all off perfectly!
Now back to Mendoza city for one more evening before we head to our next
destination, the mountain town of El Chalten!
