Viewing Post for: The Way: A Pilgrimage Across Spain

Beginnings

Starting is stopping. We stop where we lived, what we were doing, who we were doing it with. It is not as easy to stop our habits, worry, planning, looking at our watches, being somewhere we are not.

Today and for this pilgrimage I will stop my mind when it is some where besides here. I will evaluate thoughts of tomorrow, as some thoughts need to happen, and minimize time spent not present.

I tried this today, I tried to briefly absorb myself into the incredible blue buttterfly on a magnificent orange poppy.

I can still feel that butterfly as I write this. Incredible!

Time to begin.
