Viewing Post for: Inca Trail I 2013
Date: July 16, Tuesday
Location: Inca Trail, Pacallata, 8800 feet, 3 mile hike today
We explored more in depth the wonders of the Incas. How they moved gigantic blocks to build remains unsolved. It is supposed hundreds of men would be hooked to the block with twisted fiber ropes. We hiked high above the rushing river treading the same sacred trail the Incas carried their ruler on. Everyone is doing well. Tomorrow we climb all day. We will need our rest.
