DESCRIPTION:
Join Pack Paddle Ski on this 9-day hiking trip of Bryce and Zion National Parks. This trip is designed with you in mind! We had such a spectacular trip in 2008 that I decided to do it again- it was the best! After gathering in Las Vegas, we will quickly depart on our scenic drive to Tropic, Utah, Bryce's doorstep. Feel the magic of the spectacular hoodoos as you approach Bryce Canyon. Get glimpses of the eroding fins, pink cliffs, deep valleys and scenic plateaus. You are now surrounded by the spectacular natural landscape of Bryce National Park . The Best of Bryce!! We will spend 4 nights in Tropic, a mere 7 miles from the entrance of Bryce National Park. Spend the next 4 days seeking out the best hikes we can find. Hikes like PeekaBoo, Fairyland, Navajo, and the Rim Trail will no longer be names in a book. They will be yours to experience through all of your senses, camera lens, and feet! When the day ends and you have seen all you can see and hiked all you can hike, retreat to your hotel for a hot shower, a hot meal, and shared memories of the day with fellow hikers.

After conquering all we can conquer in Bryce, we'll make the short drive to Zion National Park. It is time for your boots to start exploring the intimate interior of Zion over the next 3 days. Zion although relatively close in proximity is a striking contrast to Bryce. We will have the rare opportunity to experience a desert river, the Virgin River, slot canyons such as the Narrows, panoramic views from slickrock ledges, the infamous Angels Landing, and plateau hikes which lead you to breathtaking views over Zion Canyon. Once again, we will search out the best of the best hikes in Zion National Park. Our accommodations will be in the nearby town of Springdale. The Zion Park Shuttle runs from several stops in town into the park. Easy access for each days hiking adventure. Springdale is a quaint town with fantastic views, great restaurants, and close proximity to the entrance of the park. Once again you can hike ‘til your feet can't hike anymore, then take a long hot shower, have a scrumptious hot dinner, and relax in the hotel's hot tub. Fall into bed clean, satiated, and relaxed so you are well rested for your next day's adventure. What could be any better?

End the trip with a taste of the razzle-dazzle of Las Vegas or a relaxing evening recalling the highlights of a week jam-packed full of hiking amidst awe-inspiring landforms and breathtaking views. Group size is limited to 10. Come have the BEST time!
